Cross-platform remote desktop
Reach a managed Windows, macOS or Linux computer from any DeskZap Connect client. Real multi-monitor handling, 4K high-DPI rendering and consistent keyboard and mouse behaviour.
DeskZap is built around four areas: remote access, IT support, security and automation. The features below are the ones you can use today in your workspace.
The core job: connect to a managed computer and see it as if you were sitting in front of it, on every supported platform.
Reach a managed Windows, macOS or Linux computer from any DeskZap Connect client. Real multi-monitor handling, 4K high-DPI rendering and consistent keyboard and mouse behaviour.
Install DeskZap Host on the machines you manage and connect to them on demand. End-users do not need a DeskZap account for the operator to reach their computer.
For ad-hoc help, your end-user opens a one-time 9-digit support code, valid for five minutes. No signup, no app account on their side, no install.
Connect from a modern browser to a managed computer over WebRTC and WebCodecs. No desktop install required for the operator, no extension to maintain.
The team and workspace controls you need when more than one person connects to the same fleet of machines.
Named operator accounts with role-based permissions: platform owner, org admin, technician, viewer. Add and remove members without sharing a single set of credentials.
Send an email invite to a new technician or admin. Each invite has a defined role and optional device-group restriction, so a contractor can only see the machines they were scoped to.
Organise machines by team, client, office or sensitivity class. Policies and installers are managed at the group level so a change reaches every machine in scope.
Per-platform baselines for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Toggle clipboard, file transfer, chat and remote script execution per group or per device.
Authentication, encryption, session control and an audit trail. Designed to satisfy a security questionnaire, not to hide behind a marketing claim.
Every session is encrypted with a per-session key. The relay forwards bytes and cannot decrypt session content, so DeskZap cannot read what is on your screen.
TOTP-based 2FA for every DeskZap operator account, with one-time recovery codes stored in the workspace.
Connect Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or any OIDC-compliant identity provider. Restrict SSO access to a configurable email-domain whitelist.
Every connection, policy change and admin action is recorded. The session history view shows who connected, when, to which device and under which policy.
Programmatic access, webhooks and installation automation for managed rollouts and downstream integrations.
Programmatic access for management workflows. dzk_-prefixed API keys with optional expiry, scoped to the Advanced tier.
Receive session.started, session.ended, device.online, device.offline and device.enrolled events. Each delivery is signed so your endpoint can verify the source.
Silent install routes for managed rollouts: MSI for Windows, MDM channels, shell scripts. Generate a custom-branded installer package per group.
Send wake-on-LAN, restart or scripted commands to a device from the control plane. Acknowledge and audit the result from the same workspace.
Automatic session write-ups, insight dashboards and an in-session assistant. Built in, and a fraction of the price of the incumbents.
When a session ends, DeskZap writes it up automatically: the issue, the steps taken and how it was resolved, with smart tags and an audit-ready record. Editable and verifiable, so you approve what becomes team knowledge.
Dashboards that surface recurring issue types, resolution times, session volume and workload across the team. It builds itself from your sessions, with no extra setup.
Ask CoPilot inside a live session. It draws on device context and your team's past resolved cases to suggest proven fixes, and cites where each answer comes from. Available as an add-on on Advanced.
Run on cost-effective or self-hosted models so your session data can stay in your region — a privacy and price advantage the incumbents do not offer.
All plans include the core DeskZap experience. Business and Advanced unlock team management, automation and security controls. See the full pricing for the complete list.
