01What is the difference between plans?Show
Starter is for accessing your own machines and is limited to two managed computers per user. Business is for teams: more managed devices per user, multi-monitor, wake and reboot, multi-user management, share my desktop, chat and remote script execution, device tagging and grouping, and granular user permissions. Advanced is for demanding environments: everything in Business, plus USB device redirection, microphone passthrough, high-fidelity audio, API access and Webhooks, workspace branding and no concurrent session limit.
02How does annual billing work?Show
Annual pricing is per user, billed up front in GBP. The prices shown on this page are the per-user, per-year totals. Monthly billing is available at a premium over the annual rate.
03Is there a free trial?Show
Yes. The 7-day free trial gives you access to Starter features, does not require a credit card and the workspace stays live after the trial so you can decide at your own pace.
04Can I switch plans later?Show
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
05How do seats and managed computers work?Show
You pay per DeskZap operator (a named user account on your workspace). Each operator can manage up to a plan-defined number of computers. Starter is 2 computers per user, Business is 10. Advanced has no operator-side cap.
06Can I self-host DeskZap?Show
Self-hosting of the relay infrastructure is supported by the DeskZap runtime. The Advanced tier is the right plan for organisations that need data residency control or want to run the control plane on infrastructure they manage themselves.
07What is your refund policy?Show
If DeskZap is not the right fit within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us and we will refund the unused portion.
08Do you offer volume discounts?Show
Yes. Larger seats receive tiered volume discounts. Contact us with your team size and we will quote a per-seat rate.
